Oxford United versus Sunderland

Was it just me or was the refereeing diabolical? How can the referee blow his whistle for a goalie who’s kick was rubbish? I thought that throughout the 90 minutes the referee was favouring Sunderland and keeping his cards in his pocket.

In the first 8 minutes I thought that we were abysmal. Stop passing it back to Simon Eastwood and attack the opposition. We showed too much respect. We couldn’t score after some great crosses from Anthony Forde, where was the Jack in the box who has that killer instinct?

Phil Parkinson called the team “talented” but we gave Sunderland an easy win. Playing from the back isn’t always beneficial and can prove masters of our own downfall.

On Tuesday we need to go at Wimbledon, my starting eleven would be: Eastwood, Long, Mousinho, Dickie, Ruffels, Thorne, Brannagan, Sykes, Henry, Agyei, Browne. I’d go with the most attacking team that I have got available.

When will Liam Kelly, Jamie Hanson and Ben Woodburn become available? Will the trio just walk straight back into the starting 11? When was the last time we had everyone available?

Between now and May 4th the starting eleven will be difficult to predict.

COME ON YOU YELLOWS

UP THE U’S.
