On Saturday I went to watch Birmingham City versus Swansea City at St Andrews. I was expecting quite a few goals from the home team, however, they were shot shy and before the end of the half, Swansea were really piling on the pressure.
Tammy Abraham opened the scoring for the Swans, just after the hour mark. There wasn`t an atmosphere which made me leave 20 minutes before the end of the game.. it was like being in a library. Where was the chanting and singing from the Brum fans? I will keep an eye on there results as I don`t see how they can gain promotion with a lack of strength in depth.
If Swansea can reinvest the money from the Gylfi Sigurdsson sale, I can see them staying up this season.
In my heart though I am an Oxford United fan. COME ON YOU YELLOWS!
