The Premier League

Football Tables

In the summer when Antonio Conte was appointed the manager of Chelsea football club I knew that the 2016/2017 champions would be Chelsea.

Last Monday I watched Chelsea versus Manchester United, I was very impressed with the movement of Eden Hazard and Diego Costa. There form at home has been awesome and phenomenal.

Who’s going to grab the Champions League positions? Will Tottenham Hotspurs finish above Arsenal? Will Everton finish above Merseyside rivals Liverpool?

Who will be in the Europa League? Manchester United? Liverpool? Everton? Will Sunderland get relegated alongside Hull City and Middlesbrough?

With Chelsea in a league of there own, it’s time for the chasing pack to jostle for the much acclaimed and lucrative Champions League and Europa League. Why are the Northern clubs having issues? Why can’t there be an equal pot of money distributed to all the clubs?

There are many clubs at the moment struggling with cash including Blackburn Rovers, Coventry City and Leyton Orient. Football has become greedy.

Would my beloved Oxford United survive in the Championship? Would it fold if they got into the Premier League?

For me it’s not about clubs in the Premier League it’s about plying our trade in League One.

Can Oxford United clinch the last play off position?
