Since late 2016 The Spitfires have found home wins hard to come by. I admire the work and financial attributes of the savvy businessman. When my friend and I went to watch Eastleigh vs Halifax in the FA Cup the pitch looked abit bobbly and bare in some places. At the helm Martin Allen was introduced to the faithful.

Ronnie Moore was in charge in the early stages of the season where results were starting to become hard to come by, Stewart Donald then employed Martin Allen. Managers have a short shelf life and since he became manager, Mikael Mandron has moved up the divisions, Ryan Bird has gone up a league, Reda Johnson has extended his contract.

What’s going wrong at Eastleigh? Are they there to pick up a wage or are they passionate about wearing the shirt? I remember when Oxford United were relegated to the blue square premier, the manager got rid of deadwood because the purse strings were tightened.

If Eastleigh can’t stop the losses then they could find themselves battling for conference survival. Were they a one man team?

They’ve got 2 very important months coming up, a few wins will undoubtedly boost there morale and confidence.

I will be watching there results with interest.
