Oxford United vs Leyton Orient

The boys couldn’t quite get a foothold in this match as from the first minute, Orient showed that they were up for ruffling a few United feathers. After Argyle this result is majorly disappointing as we are now 5 points ahead of the chasing play off hopefuls. Chey Dunkley.. What an absolute beast! He won literally every ball. The more I see Dunkley paired up with Mullins the more I think that Jake Wright will have his work cut out to get back in the United team.

At half time the score was O – O. Were United going to find that extra gear to deflate the feisty opposition? Unfortunately this time, Orient again after 10 years got the better of United. Jonjoe Kenny had a good game, he was getting forward with Mullins whenever he could, why are internationals coming up at a crucial period for United? In my opinion I think that, looking back on the game, we should have had a penalty as Liam Sercombe was bundled to the floor in the area. In last night’s game.. Reading vs Crystal Palace the referee awarded a really soft penalty in the visitors favour.

Is there any consistency with referees? I’m really disappointed that 3 points got away from us this afternoon, but can the yellows bounce back when we play Dagenham and Redbridge on Tuesday night?

Where is this season going? Are we heading for automatic promotion or are we going to have to settle for a play off berth?

I’m always believing, COME ON YOU YELLOWS!
