A week on Saturday, United play Accrington Stanley in a 3pm kick off. After Tuesday’s home game vs Northampton, we are at home on a Saturday for the first time since we lost 2 – 1 to Bristol Rovers, as we had had 2 cup games. In the top 4 divisions, it is known that Oxford United will have completed more games than the big boys in the premier league.
Accrington are going great at the moment, they occupy 5th place in the play offs. Who’s going to be gate crashing those positions? Will Wycombe be able to go unbeaten to get in? They had a great season last season, although in January they sold Matt Ingram to Queens Park Rangers. Accrington are losing 2 of there prized assets in the summer in Matt Crooks and another midfielder as they are going to be plying there trade with Rangers in Scotland.
If there aren’t any injury concerns for Oxford from Morecambe and Northampton then my line up for this game would be; Buchel, Kenny, Wright, Mullins, Skarz, MacDonald, Sercombe, Lundstram, Maguire, Roofe and Hylton.
If we play the way I have seen us play for much of this campaign I can see us beating Accrington, 3 nil.
COME ON YOU YELLOWS!
