With the transfer window open, Manchester United have already lured Memphis Depay, Matteo Darmian and Bastian Schweinsteiger to Manchester. There have been a few departures from the red side of Manchester disposing the services of Nani who has set up home in Turkey with Fenerbahce, Will Keane who has gone on loan to Preston North End, Tom Thorpe going to Rotherham United, Ben Amos to Bolton and Saidy Janko to Celtic. Robin Van Persie is heading out of the exit door it seems to.
Arsenal have only made one notable addition with Petr Cech leaving Chelsea for a reported fee of £10million. Chelsea have started having a clear out with Didier Drogba moving on. Josh McEachran has signed for Brentford in a 4 year deal worth £750,000. Raheem Sterling looks like he’s on the verge of a £45million move to Manchester City worth a staggering £200,000 a week. Aston Villa have kept hold of there club captain Fabien Delph as he decided against signing for Mancheter City. Villa fans are relieved but by all admission abit miffed as this rumour was getting close to reality. Newcastle United have signed Georginio Wijnaldum
In European football Shaqiri ended up not signing for Stoke however the Potters have signed Shay Given and Glen Johnson on frees. Ronaldinho has signed for Fluminese in his home country of Brazil. It will be interesting to see where Gonzalo Higuain goes as Arsenal are interested in signing him. The coming weeks will strengthen or weaken the middle pack of the premier league. With the impending sale of Raheem Sterling surely it will weaken Liverpool and strengthen the ranks of Manchester City?
Time will tell.
