The Uefa Champions League

Who’s going to win this year’s Uefa Champions League? Who’s going to go the furthest out of the four British sides? Can Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City each turn over a two-nil deficit to stay in the hunt for silverware? Here’s an old cliche … We will have to wait and see.

Arsenal 0 Bayern Munich 2

Tomorrow night in the Allianz Arena there is a massive game for the Gunners. In the first leg at the Emirates, Arsenal had the bulk of the play, they started very brightly and with high tempo they were awarded a penalty which Ozil took tamely. This resulted in the scoreline being kept at 0 – 0, although there would be a helping hand in Bayern’s favour as  Wojciech Szczesny was sent off in the first leg. Arsenal have got many injuries including two long term absentees – Theo Walcott and Abou Diaby. Kim Kallstrom will be lucky to get in the first team picture as he’s got a back injury.

I don’t think Arsenal will progress because Bayern Munich have got so much quality.

My prediction for tomorrow night: Bayern 2 Arsenal 0. Arsenal to go out 4 – 0 on aggregate.

I hope that I am wrong.

Come on you Gunners!
